Progress on Baseball t-Shirt Quilt

Since my last posting I completed cutting the shirt panels and began piecing. 2 rows out of 5 are now completed!

Don't you love how the frames and frame shadowing
showcases each t-shirt panel?

I sent an email to my son, Ty, and he in turn shared it with Caleb, his son, my grandson.
Both responded,
"How cool is that!"

Want to meet Caleb? If so go here.

WIP Wednesday at Freshly Pieced

The icon will direct you WIP wednesday at fresly pieced. And ohhhh while at that site I saw Lee's gorgeous quilts as well as  some pictures with the links. Well worth the visit!

  1. That's the nicest looking t-shirt quilt I've ever seen!! I love the gray and the shadows--they really make the shirts pop! Great job!

  2. I agree with Gwen. I was just going to say how I like the shadow framing. I still have DD 1 t-shirts from high school 13 years ago. I think about them often, but that is as far as it has gone.

  3. Very cool! I like the beige sashing and brown borders on the tshirts.

  4. By far the nicest t shirt quilt I have seen! Great job!

  5. That is so cool! Excellent for the sports aficionado!

  6. The shadowing looks great! What a nice touch!

  7. This t-shirt quilt really is phenomenal! The shirts look so flat and perfect and I like the "shadow" effect around them. This is by far the best t-shirt quilt I've ever seen!

  8. Absolutely 'How Cool Is That'! The framing and shadowing set this off a treat, it's amazing. Dropping by from Freemotion by the River and LGA :)

  9. You did a really nice job on a project that could have been a disaster. And I like the shadowing very much.

  10. Looks so neat Joanie! The framing and shadowing is perfect! Thanks for sharing.

  11. The frames really, really make the t-shirts pop and in-turn, that makes the quilt pop!!

  12. I love your T-shirt quilt, especially the shadow panel. Thanks for sharing.

  13. Your quilt is looking brilliant, the frames are so effective!!!

  14. I really like how this setting style makes the shirts pop.

You are doing a great job on this!

  15. I have a business making tshirt quilts and I do like how you added the shadow around the tshirts. I just "pinned" it on my quilts board on Pinterest. Great job!

  16. Simply love the concept of design. Looks amazing.
