Winter Twitterings Red Work and Quilt Block Update

Another Block Finished!

Fireworks are going off as I write this post!
I wonder how Carowinds knew I was celebrating?

Making progress with finishing blocks for this commissioned quilt.

Oh I wish my design board was up on the wall to plan the layout!

Squaring the blocks off has been tedious. . . which warranted buying a new rotary cutter. I'm still trying to decide if I need to buy another. If you happen to stop by my blog please recommend your favorite rotary cutter and why you like it so well.I am soooo looking forward to your comments.

  1. I seem to change rotary cutters often! I feel the blade just doesn't last long. I'm looking for that elusive rotary cutter that lasts and is comfortable to use! Love your redwork. Dying to see what that quilt is going to look like!

  2. Joanie your red work is absolutely beautiful! I still use an old Olfa that I have had for years and the blades seem to last for a long time. Thanks for sharing.
