Bloom Where You Are Planted

Bloom where you are planted has been my guiding words for the past year. My places of blooming have changed during the course of the year. Once this quilt hung in my office while on staff at the Center now it hangs in my home quilting studio/office.

Blooming has taken on chaos.

The picture to the direct right is my desk area where I work from home.  The second picture below is my sewing table waiting for me to sew those remaining borders for the house quilt as seen on the design wall.

My friend, Cassie, always keeping me company while sewing or working. Yesterday while she slept on the floor right behind my chair she was snoring. Snoring loudly!! I couldn't believe such a little dog could make that much noise. It was a perfect day for napping as rain poured all day.

As I look at these pictures my Christmas list is beginning to grow. More storage! Another light! Another color!

After I work on my quilt today I will be joining a group of ladies from church for our Christmas dinner. Yum! Portofinos Ristorante Italiano. http://www.portofinos-us.com/files/Menu_Dinner_2010.08.20.pdf Check out the menu. I am salviating!

Oh by the way has anyone had any problems with their followers gadget? My stats show a growth in followers but the gadget does not show them!  Arrgghhh! I spent way too much time this morning trying to troubleshoot! Now I noticed it is showing some of the followers and me 2 times as a follower. For my new followers thank you! I am a rather new blogger!

This morning I signed up for the Free Motion Quilting 2012 challenge at Sewcalgal's blogsite. I am sooo looking forward to it!

  1. Cassie is such a cutie and I'm sure a great helper! I know sometimes the Follower gadget doesn't show up for people but I forget to check my stats :)
