Christmas Shopping

The clock is ticking away and Christmas will soon be upon me, 9 more days to be exact. Yesterday I shopped until I dropped and will have to do again today. It is so difficult to shop for 3 teenage boys but I am making progress. My feet and back hurt. I told my darling husband I need a new pair of shoes that will give me more support. I tried on a pair of skechers that look like these. What a difference they will make when you are racing through all the stores. The first order of business tomorrow is to go buy a pair so I can spend another day at the malls.

Carhartt! Have you ever heard of this name brand? Well it is a line of clothing that you might find in the fishing/hunting section in Dick's Sporting Goods Store. I thought I was going to have to find a tractor retail store. There is no such thing in Charlotte from what I can tell. By a stroke of luck I decided to go to Dick's Sporting Goods after racing through all the men's departments at Carolina Mall, which by the way is my least place to shop and I may get there 1 to 2 times a year! Woohoo! not only did I find Carhartt I asked for a discount and the retailer gave it to me.

Now to find that NY Yankees lamp for my middle grandson. And of course I couldn't find one so I had to come home and order it online. It will get here only a day or two before Christmas.

After shopping at a few other malls I came home and thought I would try to make the apron I saw on  http://www.sewwequilt.com// for a friend of my oldest son. Sew We Quilt is where bloggers are  invited to do tutorials of their wonderful quilting/sewing projects. I didn't get too far along since I received a phone call from a good friend. I love catching up with my friends!

Well I rather be quilting but I must finish Christmas shopping. What will you be doing today?
